Heather Lawless began her career as a stand-up comedian in Los Angeles. She later moved to New York City where she was winner of the Emerging Comedians of New York Award for Best Female Stand-Up Comedian as well as being a finalist for Outstanding Female Stand-Up for New York City Nightlife Award.
