An adrenaline junkie from childhood, Josh has always been drawn to danger. At age six, he wanted to be a cop so he could chase and capture the bad guys.

"As a stringer, I do everything, go everywhere and see everything that a cop does," he says. Patrolling the streets with a camera-in-hand and a bulletproof vest on his chest, Josh transformed his childhood dream into a booming career. Today, he's among the city's top news cameramen and risks his life in some of the most violent, menacing and forgotten neighborhoods, searching for the next big story.

"If I'm not out here getting the story, then who else will? There are stories that would never see the light of day, if I didn't record it." Josh, 28, isn't just stringing for the excitement alone, he's also following a purpose to expose the truth. "The true art of being a stringer is getting the story and making sure the story gets to the news and gets to the public. 'Cause the public has no idea what this city is really like."
