Meet the Crew
Rick Fairless (Owner)
With his long hair and his tie-dyed shirt, Rick looks like a figure from a bygone era. But this former paint salesman is very much in the here and now. He shows up at the gym every day at 5 a.m. and drives a tie-dyed SUV that his wife hates. Rick keeps a fun, energetic, easygoing workplace…until someone screws up. Married (twice) to the love of his life, with five kids, Rick is always struggling to balance family and business. Despite the family squabbles and demanding clients, Rick manages to oversee a shop that, on a weekly basis, creates and modifies stunning, one-of-a-kind choppers, ape hangers, and bikes. Whether it's family drama, a ticking deadline to trick out a six-figure motorcycle, or a huge party to throw, there is always something going on at Strokers, and Rick is always there to make it happen.
Ma smokes like a chimney, drinks like a fish and cusses like a sailor. This quick-witted, saucy 71-year-old says anything and everything on her mind. She manages the establishment with Rick and serves as a cook in the Ice House. When trouble arises at Strokers, Ma is at the center of the storm with mischief in her eyes and a smile on her lips. Her advice is rarely solicited but always provided. And she never misses a chance to remind others of their shortcomings. Nevertheless, Ma is loved and respected by all who meet her, mainly because she reminds them a little of their own grandmother. Even her sarcastic attitude and sharp tongue can't hide her love for her family.
Lena (Parts Department)
Lena is Rick's youngest daughter and his newest employee. Since age 8, when she wrote "future owner" in the wet concrete at Strokers, Lena has believed that taking over the family business is her destiny. She is currently spending her days in the male-dominated parts department, determined to prove herself to her iconic father. Lena thinks she has Rick wrapped around her little finger, but Rick isn't fooled by her innocent face. She has some of her grandmother's feistiness and can hold her own with even the biggest bikers at the bar. Her notoriously clumsy nature often leaves her in a heap of trouble, particularly when taking on additional responsibilities. Although she frequently gets in over her head, Rick is always there to bail her out, further proving that she's forever "Daddy's Little Girl," but she has a lot to learn about the business.
Sue (Office Manager)
Susan, who is lovingly referred to as Sachamo, started dating Rick back in 1979, when she was 15 and he was 19. They were briefly married, divorced, married to others and had families all before reuniting 10 years ago and bringing their five kids under one roof. After selling her contracting company, Sue became an essential part of Strokers, using her expertise to run the office, do the books and keep her hippy husband in line. While Rick likes to pretend she's the nagging wife, it's clear to anyone who meets them that they are truly a match made in heaven.
Meghan (Marketing & PR Manager)
Meghan is Rick's resident yankee who talks loud and fast. She is the only one who can reign in Rick's unorganized, spontaneous business style. She knows how to see through Rick's crap and sometimes has to go above his head to make things work. Regardless, when something needs to be done right and on time, Meghan is the one to do it. She is quick to think on her feet during any crazy event, usually saving the day when Rick is about to unravel. Rick loves Meghan's organizational skills and go-get-‘em attitude, but sometimes he has to remind her who's boss around these parts.
Debbie ("Resident Babe")
Strokers is known for its hot women, but Debbie takes the cake. Working for Rick for the past 10 years, she is focused on keeping the customers happy. Luckily, her perfect body and charming disposition do just that. Ma's "Little Debbie" is a regular in every Strokers calendar, bikini contest and lingerie party, but her most useful skill is schmoozing customers who've recently been stung by Ma's venomous tongue. A former model, Debbie always commands a line at her beer tub. But customers need not worry; cold beer and tiny bikinis are always in supply.
