
Sofia Dickens, the Swedish-born, Harvard educated beauty has quite an impressive following from the 8 million teens that watched her each morning in classrooms across the country as host of Channel One News to the millions of loyal fans that followed her around the world as the video correspondent on the award-winning game show Jeopardy! She showed us her brainpower while reporting live from the White House and the Presidential debates, and showcased her athletic ability when tackling black diamond slopes on her snowboard.
Dickens grew up inConcord, Massachusetts, and before earning her Government degree from Harvard University, she represented her Swedish homeland on the National Women's Lacrosse Team. Dickens burst onto the entertainment scene in 2001, bringing Jeopardy! viewers along for the adventure as she drove NASCAR stock cars at alarming speeds, wrangled some of the world's deadliest animals, and visited history's most fascinating sites. As one of Jeopardy!'s on-air personalities, Dickens also promoted the show by appearing on national and regional morning shows across the country and hosting state-wide events. In addition to hosting a wide variety of celebrity guests and rock concerts on Channel One News, Dickens reported live from Vatican City during the Pope's funeral and live from the Superbowl sideline.
Dickens speaks Swedish, Spanish, and is conversant in French. She lives in Newport Beach, California with her husband, Reed, and enjoys golf, skiing, singing, and hiking.
