Q&A with Matt
How long have you been in the storage container auction business?
What's the most outrageous thing you've ever discovered in a container?
There are so many!! I would have to say... a dead body...I had to take a 3 month break because it was so disturbing. Not to mention I had to forfeit my container to the authorities which was a waste of money!
What do you do to relax?
I don't relax or sleep... I am flipping containers everyday, every hour. That's the only way to make millions and stay ahead of the pack.
Would you say you are well liked? Why or why not?
Yes and no... auctioneers love me because I make them money and I jump the bids and knock everyone out quickly. Bidders hate me because they can't match my fat bank roll and I steal all the good containers.
What's the most challenging part of storage auctions?
The new items are a bit tricky because my expertise lay in antiques and collectables. A lot of this new crap that comes out can throw me for a loop.
Do you have any tricks that give you a leg up?
Yeah... my fat banks roll; staying in mental and physical shape; studying physiological techniques to use on weak minded bidders and always stay on top of your antiquities.
