Meet the Gun Gurus

Chris
Chris has owned and operated Guns Plus for almost 14 years. Chris grew up in a military family, with his father spending almost 30 years in the Army and serving in Vietnam. Chris started Guns Plus at a smaller location in a strip mall, where he was the only employee until the business grew to be the success that it is today. Knowing that he needs a knowledgeable staff who could relate to the soldiers and personnel of Fort Bragg, Chris hires almost exclusively ex-military and law enforcement to work in his store.

Martin
Martin has been the manager of Guns Plus for more than 10 years. His first job was working at a gun range when he was only 14 years old. Martin served in the Army for six years in communications and finished his term at Fort Bragg, making Spring Lake his home. He was a customer at the original Guns Plus location, so when Chris expanded his business, Martin's experience and resume made him the perfect choice for the manager position at the new store. Martin tends to rule with an iron fist, which sometimes causes friction with the rest of the Guns Plus staff. Though he might frustrate Chris and the rest of the staff from time to time, Martin is easily one of the best gun salesmen out there, thanks to his knowledge about weapons and his interaction with customers.

Bernard
Bernard is one of the senior salesmen at Guns Plus. At first glance, he may seem like a gentle giant, but don't let that fool you. He is one of the East Coast's leading tactical knife fighting expert, as well as a former Ranger and Green Beret. He's also an expert on all sorts of weaponry, including guns, artillery and military hardware, and he has been published in 1,000+ articles and journals. Essentially, if an object has the capacity to kill or maim someone, Bernard knows all about it. As a result, he's extremely knowledgeable about all of the shop's weapons, a fact most customers seem to realize immediately.

Ethan
Ethan is a third-generation Marine, having spent four years in the Corps working in artillery and serving in Iraq. He is now a part-time employee at Guns Plus while putting himself through college. He's worked at the store off and on for a long time. His experience working in artillery makes him extremely knowledgeable when it comes to big weapons. Because he's young and stubborn, he has no problem speaking his mind and rocking the boat...especially when it comes to his distaste for fellow employee Martin.

Josh
Josh is a salesman and the resident gunsmith at Guns Plus. Skipping three grades in high school, he is extremely intelligent and definitely has the brains and knowhow to get the job done. The staff considers him a "Redneck MacGyver" because he can fix almost anything with the most minimal of tools.

Marvin
Marvin is Chris' best friend. They first met back when Marvin was a customer at Chris' smaller store. He now volunteers to help out at Guns Plus because he loves guns and, more importantly, because he wants to help out his friend. The fact that Marvin is not an official employee of Guns Plus often causes friction between him and Martin, but as long as the business is doing well and Chris is happy, Marvin couldn't care less what Martin thinks.
