Of the many deaths for which Shoko Asahara and his cult were responsible, the murder of the infant boy, Tatsuhiko Sakamoto, must rank as one of the most cowardly and despicable. One can almost understand the twisted logic of the sect in wanting his parents, Tsutsumi and Satoko, silenced, but there will never be a suitable explanation for the brutal slaying of a child of such tender years.
