Serial Killer Mom

The 36-year-old serial killer is now the mother of a baby boy. Her new husband, Thierry Bordelais, and she intend to remain living in Quebec, despite Karla's notoriety. She has changed her name to Leanne Teale, experimented with dark glasses, various dye jobs and hairstyles, but she can't hide for long.

Many people feel that Karla can never truly pay her debt to society. Now that she has been released because of the deal she cut years ago before her criminality was fully known, she can go on with her life — get married and have children. This is something that three Canadian schoolgirls will never be able to do because they died horribly at the hands of Karla and her killer ex-husband, Paul Bernardo.

Karla's lack of remorse for her actions, her callousness, her readiness to become involved with another killer, do not bode well for her or her child. Psychopaths do not change their personalities and she still presents a danger to society, her husband and her child. Had she not buffaloed Canadian prosecutors, she would still be locked up like her husband. Hopefully, the people of Quebec will keep a close eye on her.
