Andrea Pia Kennedy married Russell Edison Yates, Jr. on April 17, 1993, in a small chapel in Texas. Andrea was a nurse and "Rusty" was a NASA engineer. Andrea quit her job to be a full-time mother to Noah, 7, Mary, 6 months, Luke, 3, Paul, 2, and John, 5 (left to right), seen here in their Houston home. Yates' defense team argued that the mother of five was legally insane when she drowned each child in the bathtub on June 20, 2001.
