Pop singer Adam Lambert was arrested in Finland early on December 22nd after allegedly getting into a physical fight with his boyfriend, Finnish reality TV star Sauli Koskinen. According to media reports, Lambert and Koskinen, a winner on Finland's
Big Brother, began fighting at a Helsinki gay bar called Don't Tell Mama. As the fight progressed outside, bystanders attempted to break them up until police intervened. Both were arrested, questioned and released. They face possible assault charges.
A runner-up on the 2009 season of
American Idol, Lambert, 29, has built a successful singing career, becoming the first
Idol contestant to headline a world tour in support of a debut release.
