Astronaut William Oefelein, shown in an Aug. 8, 2002, photo, told investigators he had been involved with Nowak since 2004. But he was also reportedly involved with Colleen Shipman for three months. On May 23, 2007, NASA announced that Oefelein had been re-assigned to the U.S. Navy.
