On September 27, 1969, the Zodiac claimed his fifth and sixth confirmed victims, Bryan Calvin Hartnell, 20, and Cecelia Ann Shepard, 22. Hartnell survived, but Shepard succumbed to the 15 savage stab wounds inflicted by her killer. Now over 40 years later, the case is still unsolved.
