Officials in Oklahoma have their man, Antonio Demond Younger of Tulsa, who failed to register as a sex offender, and seems to have been hiding from authorities in a disguise, though not a very good one. He was caught and arrested on June 5 wearing a long black wig, penciled-in eyebrows and a penciled-in mustache.

Authorities are still searching for Florida inmate Alberto Morales who escaped while being transported to Nevada to serve out a 30-year to life sentence for sexual assault with a weapon. Morales had vowed to fellow inmates that he would not be going back to prison. So far he’s kept his word.
Ronald Van Der Plaat, 78, a Dutch-born man convicted in New Zealand for the 23-year incarceration, rape, bondage and torture of his daughter, 9, has been found in violation of the terms of his parole.
Some people never learn. Jose Antonio Ramos, the first suspect in the case of missing boy Etan Patz, just completed a sentence of 20 years in a Pennsylvania prison for molesting children, and was immediately rearrested after police determined that he gave them inaccurate address information.
In a crime reminiscent of that of vigilante Michael A. Mullen, also from Washington State, Patrick Drum, who said he was standing up for a belief by seeking out registered sex offenders and killing them, was sentenced after hearing from the victims’ families. On August 7, 2000, Amy Blom took the stand to testify for the defense in the trial of her husband, Donald Blom. Blom, a convicted sex offender with a history of kidnappings and sexual assaults, was accused of murdering 19-year-old Katie Poirier. Serving a life sentence for the murder, he is suspected of being a serial killer.
Fayetteville, N.C., woman Yvonne Monroe, 52, has been arrested after it was discovered she was allegedly running a babysitting service at her house while living with her boyfriend, a convicted sex offender.
