Investigators are not saying what other evidence they collected that could connect Freddie Grant to missing child Gabrielle Swainson. Grant, who has a prior criminal record, is in custody on a weapons charge and is a person of Interest in two other cases. Gabrielle is still missing.
The South Carolina cheerleader went missing sometime between the afternoon of August 18 and the morning of August 19. Gabbiee, 16, is described as a black female, about 5-feet-2-inches tall with black hair. She was last seen wearing pink and black pajamas.
University of California, Davis student Linnea Lomax, 19, left the Sutter Medical Center outpatient facility in Sacramento on June 26, 2012, and has not been seen since. Now seven weeks later, searchers have found her notebook.
Skylar Neese, 16, of Star City, W.Va., has now been missing for over a month. On the evening of July 7, Skylar came home from her job at Wendy’s, hugged her parents and told them she loved them. Then, her father recalls, she said she was tired and went to her room. Surveillance footage taken from the family’s apartment complex shows Skylar leaving the apartment through a window and willingly getting into an unknown sedan.

An endangered child alert has been canceled after Tennessee teens Courtney Hawkins and Dillan Stewart were found safe near Gainesboro. Police were able to trace the young couple using cell phone signals, and pulled them over in a traffic stop. Police say Dillan and Courtney were running away, and had a third juvenile in the car. They are now facing charges.
Brandi Ellen Wells was last seen on August 2, 2006, as she prepared to go out to a club. On arrival she was out of money and nearly out of gas. Though she asked several patrons for assistance, Brandi left the club alone around midnight. Her car and personal items were found days later, but she was never seen again. The mystery of her disappearance is still unsolved.
Yesterday, Star City Police Chief Vic Propst today that his department is now working with the Carolina Beach, N.C., police department after a possible sighting of Skylar in that area. There have been no new sightings since then, and the search for the missing girl, last seen one week ago, continues.
Star City, W.V., police are searching for Skylar Neese, 16, who was last seen Friday. She is described as about 5’4″ or 5’5″ tall and around 130 to 140 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. In the two days before she was last seen, Skylar posted some tweets in which she sounded upset.
Missing Mason City, Iowa, teen Garret Joyner has been found in Utah, where he was pulled over by State Police after a short chase. Prior to being apprehended, Joyner, 14, was last seen in Hartley, Iowa, on Tuesday evening, where he drove off without paying for gas. Also found safe was 13-year-old Tennessee girl Joanna Cheyenne Starr Belcher, suspected of leaving home with a 19-year-old man.
