This violent rapist and murderer claimed seven or eight victims. Unlikely suspect Leonard Christopher was convicted of one murder, but prosecutors never linked him to any of the others. In fact, one of the murders occurred while he was in jail. On December 11, 1990, when his case went to the jury, Christopher’s lawyer announced, "The case stinks. It’s garbage."
