Today in Crime History: Polygamist Sect Leader Warren Jeffs Arrested

On August 28, 2006, a highway patrol officer arrested Mormon polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs during a traffic stop in Nevada. Jeffs, a self-proclaimed prophet, was on the run from charges of rape by accomplice after being accused of arranging marriages between adult men and underage girls.
