Double Jeopardy: Master Sargent Timothy Hennis, Once Acquitted, Awaits Execution

When Kathryn Eastburn and two of her daughters were brutally murdered near Fort Bragg just before Mother’s Day in 1985, police quickly closed in on suspect Master Sergeant Timothy Hennis, who was tried and sentenced to death. He was later acquitted, only to be found guilty and sentenced to death again by a military tribunal in this controversial case.
