At the scene of a double murder, not far from Mount Tamalpais State Park, on October 16, 1980, police found a note from "Mr. Hate" addressed to "Shitheels" that said that by the time the note was discovered, it would be "way too late;" and the note’s author would be on the news or on a "slab."
