Phoenix was terrorized by multiple serial killers between 2005 and 2006. Then in early August 2006, serial shooters Dale Hausner and Samuel Dieteman were arrested, marking the beginning of the end of the murders.
The autopsy results are in and the death of Serial Shooter Dale Hausner, 40, has been ruled a suicide: death by “amitriptyline intoxication,” aka death by "happy pill."
A man who, along with a partner, terrorized Phoenix with a string of shootings in 2005 and 2006 has been found dead in his prison cell. Dale Hausner and Samuel John Dieteman are believed to have killed eight people and wounded another 20.
Dale Hausner, 39, has, in a hand-written note, asked a judge to waive all future appeals of his death sentence. The next step for the court is to determine whether Hausner is competent to make such a request.
