Today in Crime History: Christopher Wilder Makes FBI 10 Most Wanted List

On April 3, 1984, the FBI placed Wilder on their Ten Most Wanted list. Also known as The Beauty Queen Killer for choosing attractive victims, Wilder would be responsible for at least 8 murders before he could be stopped.

In 1990, Valeri Brooks, 22, was stabbed to death in a Kentucky field. More than two decades later, her murder remains unsolved, but police now hope to link her death to a serial killer who’s spending the rest of his days in a Florida prison.
