On January 30, 1981, former Milwaukee police officer and Playboy bunny Lawrencia "Bambi" Bembenek married her cop boyfriend, who had very high alimony payments. On May 28, his ex-wife was murdered in her home with his gun — problem solved. When he alibied out, suspicion quickly turned to Bembenek, who had access to the gun and the victim’s home.
