Justin Peters at Slate writes a guide to what to do in the event that you see a post on Facebook that confesses to a crime. Earlier, we blogged about the Derek Medina, the Florida man who confessed to killing his wife on Facebook. But what should you do if you see a post like that?
Slate’s guide gives practical advise like “Don’t: Tag the victim in the photograph, or share it to your Facebook wall.” And, please, don’t like the confession post. Medina’s post reportedly actually received three ‘likes.’
