On December 30, 1984, the skeletal remains of a female victim were found in Napanee, Ontario, Canada. The victim is believed to have been 18-25 years of age at the time of death. She is believed to have died over a year before being discovered. Cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head.
According to her Doe Network file (438UFON,) the Napanee Jane Doe was found in a ditch by a jogger. Police believe she was killed elsewhere and dumped at that location, about four kilometers north of the Palace Road exit of Highway 401. Using her dental records, police have searched the missing persons databases of the U.S. and Canada but so far have been unable to identify this Jane Doe.
According to information provided by authorities to the Doe Network, the victim was 18-25 years of age, 5’5″ or 5’6″ tall, had short light brown to dark blonde hair and was of a slim or medium build. Five years after she was found, police circulated photos of a mannequin dressed in clothes identical to those she was wearing: Farini brand blue jeans and a leopard print blouse. The victim did not have shoes or undergarments on.
