Woman Tries to Smuggle Tadpoles Through Security — in Her Mouth

A woman passing through airport security in Guangzhou, China, was found with a bottle of liquid in her luggage too large to allow on the plane. As they routinely do these days, security informed her that she had to discard the liquid or drink it. The woman, who was only visiting China, chose to drink the liquid, but aroused the suspicions of security personnel when she didn’t swallow it. In fact, animas lovers, it is a relief to note that she refused swallow it.

On inspection it turned out that the liquid contained tadpoles that the traveller had received as a gift from a friend during her visit to China. Animal lovers, however, will be heartbroken to know that she was not allowed onto the plane until the tadpoles were discarded. It is not known what she did with them, but it’s a safe guess that they didn’t make it. Another casualty of post-911 airport security.
