Serial killer, necrophile, pedophile and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested in on July 22, 1991, when Milwaukee Police Officers Robert Rauth and Rolf Mueller saw Tracy Edwards dazed and wondering the streets with one hand cuffed. When they asked what had happened he told them of being invited to Dahmer’s, being drugged and nearly killed in a house of horrors. The officers took him back to the apartment where a friendly Dahmer greeted them and let them in, giving them the key to the cuffs and offering excuses for the attack.
One officer investigated the bedroom with Edwards and Dahmer, while the other, noticing a refrigerator covered with gruesome photos, opened it, and let out a loud scream. When he was done, he yelled to his partner, “There’s a f—king head in the refrigerator!” Its eyes and mouth were open. The box of baking soda hardly absorbed the stench of the head and the pieces of human flesh neatly wrapped in there with it. The freezer contained three more heads, a human heart and human meat.
