Man Bites off, Swallows Cousin’s Earlobe Over Loud Music

Emilio Mendoza, 27, of Stamford, Conn., has been arrested after a fight with his cousin Ruiz Clemente-Perez, 29, left Clemente-Perez in serious need of a doctor and a prosthetic earlobe.

According to police, a bleeding Clemente-Perez, who had part of his ear missing when they arrived, said that he had asked Mendoza to turn down his loud music since Clemente-Perez had to get up early for work the next morning. Mendoza then reportedly punched Clemente-Perez in the face, bit off a piece of his ear and swallowed it. No word on what music Mendoza was listening to.

According to police Clemente-Perez also suffered a fractured eye socket and a broken nose, though judging by Mendoza’s mugshot, Clemente-Perez did get e few punches in before cops arrived.

Mendoza was arrested and is being held on $100,000 bail.
