Former Porn Star Pleads Not Guilty to Murder

Ex-porn star Jennifer Marchant, 23, has pleaded not guilty to the February 6, 2013, stabbing death of her boyfriend Ralph Stone, 24, the father of her daughter, 2. Marchant, who until last year worked as an adult film actress under the name of Scarlett Rouge, is known for her work in such titles as Real Big Tits and Me and My BBW Girlfriend.

Police in North Tonawanda, New York, were called to the couple’s Olive Street apartment during a domestic dispute at about 10:30 p.m., but it is unclear whether Marchant or Stone called 911. When police entered the apartment Stone rushed at them in what was initially interpreted as an attempted assault. Once Stone was down officers saw the wound in his lower neck and used a police-issued jacket to staunch the profuse bleeding while they waited for EMTs to arrive. Stone died in the apartment. Police found a 6-to-8-inch kitchen knife, which they believe Marchant used to stab Stone. Marchant was arrested on the spot and charged with second-degree murder.

Marchant, who has reportedly been working for a debt collection agency in Amherst, has been arrested twice in the last two years for DUI. Stone was arrested 11 times between 2006 and 2010 on charges ranging from harassment to assault with a baseball bat. Marchant appeared in court the day after the murder and pleaded not guilty, claiming that she acted in self-defense. Early investigation did not reveal a history of domestic violence between Stone and Marchant.
