A well-respected base commander in the Canadian Air Force, David Russell Williams led a double life. While playing the role of a wholesome husband and accomplished pilot, Williams secretly entertained his fetish for women’s lingerie. By breaking into women’s homes from 2006 until his arrest in 2010, Williams amassed nearly 50 pairs of women’s underwear. In a search of his home, police discovered his collection, neatly organized in the meticulous fashion characteristic of a military man. Along with the underwear, police found photos of Williams modeling the panties and bras.
Eventually, Williams’ obsessions took him beyond stealing panties. In October, 2010, confessed to killing two women, as well as to multiple other crimes, including sexual assault and home invasion. He pleaded guilty to all charges, and was stripped of his rank and sentenced to life in prison.
