Much to the relief of his 5,895 fans on Facebook, the Petoskey Batman announced Wednesday that all but one of the charges against him have been dropped. The Petoskey Batman, known in court records as Mark Williams, was arrested in Septemberon a felony charge of obstructing police in in an investigation. Because Williams had been arrested three times before, he faced up to 15 years in prison. Now, with only a trespassing charge remaining, Williams will just have to write a letter of apology to the city of Petoskey.
Well I went to court today and had great news. Everything was dropped except a tresspassing charge wich is a 30 day misdemeanor which I will do know time for and no probation. I just have to write a letter of appology to the State PD and possibly a fine. I also get my uniform back. As for the arresting trooper, we actually talked today and we came out on good terms with no anamosity beetween us. I have also learned that the petoskey city police not only have no problem with what I do, they respesct and welcome it. The chief himself said he was thankfull for the help ive provided. All in all it was a good day. Also a big shout out to Jerry at Applebees for the free dessert.
