Your Daily Creepout: A Serial Killer’s Shoe Fetish

Serial killer and necrophiliac Jerome “Jerry” Brudos loved women’s shoes. His fetish started when he was young; a 5-year-old Jerry played with a pair of discarded stilettos at a junk yard near his childhood home. He collected shoes, and used the severed foot of a 19-year-old victim to model them. After killing, Brudos would wear the shoes he took off his victims and masturbate. Hi killing spree was relatively short: Brudos was arrested in 1969 after killing four young women in the course of one year. During his time in prison, Brudos collected countless shoe catalogs and kept them stockpiled in his cell. In 2006, Brudos died of liver cancer in prison.
