Your Daily Creepout: Man Who Cooked & Served Own Genitals

In April, a 22-year-old asexual artist served a meal comprised of his own penis and testicles to a group of high paying guests. Mao Sugiyama had his genitals voluntarily removed in March and was storing them in his freezer before thawing them out and serving them to five guests who paid $250 each. The penis, scrotal skin and testes were garnished with mushrooms and parsley and neatly divided up for the guests. A total of 71 people attended the event.

Five months after the incident, Japanese authorities charged Sugiyama with indecent exposure, which in Japan is considered “displaying obscene objects.” Sugiyama said the dinner was intended to raise awareness of  ”sexual minorities, x-gender, asexual people.”
