VIDEO: Man Holding Baby Tries to Jump From Window, Gets Kicked Back In

After a fight with his wife, a man holding his two-year-old child sat perched on the windowsill of his high-rise apartment, ready to jump. This video, shot October 16 in Xining City, China, shows police and fire personnel launching a rescue operation to prevent the man from taking his own life and that of his innocent young child. A large landing pad was inflated, but went unused. In the end, what saved the man was a swift kick to the face. A fireman who rappelled down the wall of the building was able to kick the man and baby back inside to safety.
