Floridian Indicted for Returning Used Enemas

An indictment handed down on October 11, 2012, reveals the identity of the man accused of returning used, contaminated enemas, several times, to a Florida CVS drugstore. According to the indictment, Florida man Ronald Eugene Robinson, “with reckless disregard for the risk that another person would be placed in danger of death or bodily injury, and under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to such risk, did tamper with consumer products that affected interstate commerce, specifically CVS Ready to Use Enemas.” As for the people who purchased the used enemas, they were all contacted and those unlucky enough to have used them, presumably ran screaming to the nearest hospital. Robinson is facing felony charges, and if convicted could get up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. He is apparently no stranger to law enforcement, and has a lengthy rap sheet for such crimes as burglary, battery, passing bad checks, damage to property, and criminal mischief.
