Irish tourist Robert McTernan knew exactly what he wanted when he landed in Boston for a two-week vacation. Within a few hours of his arrival, the AP reports, McTernan headed to Boston’s largely Italian North End neighborhood. Once there, he entered Bova’s Bakery around 3 a.m., and allegedly grabbed a knife and demanded a cannoli. An employee handed McTernan the iconic Italian treat and called 911. McTernan was arrested on charges of armed robbery. He was also ordered to surrender his passport and must stay away from the bakery.
