Update: Missing Tennessee Teen Joanna Cheyenne Starr Belcher was found in Decatur, Alabama Friday around 6 p.m. The Shelbyville Times-Gazette reported that her mother picker her up there and brought her back to Tenn., where she spoke with authorities.
In Tennessee, the Shelbyville/Bedford County Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the return of 13-year-old Joanna Cheyenne Starr Belcher, who’s been missing since June 21. Belcher is 4’11″ and weighs around 120 pounds. She has hazel eyes, dirty blonde hair which police say she may since have dyed. She has pierced ears and a scar in her inner thigh Police suspect she may have left with a 19-year-old man from Murfreesboro. Update 07/05/12: Missing Mason City, Iowa, teen Garret Joyner has been found in Utah. He was pulled over by Utah State Police after a short chase, and charged with speeding, failure to yield, and failure to signal. Prior to being apprehended, Joyner, 14, was last seen in Hartley, Iowa, on Tuesday evening, where he drove off without paying for gas. Iowa’s Community Emergency Response Team Airborne Search and Rescue Team (CERT) conducted an air search over Northern Iowa to locate Joyner.
Police in Mason City, Iowa, are seeking the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Garret Joyner, who was last seen Tuesday. According to police, Joyner was seen at home around 8 a.m. and was absent from baseball practice later that day. Police say they believe Garret left the house alone and drove off in a white 2003 Pontiac Bonneville with the license plate number 448JKX. He was spotted in Hartley, Iowa, on Tuesday evening, where he drove off without paying for gas. Anyone with information on Garret’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Mason City Police Department, the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department or their local law enforcement agency.
