Erika Perdue, Wealthy Dallas Socialite, Busted for Child Porn

Wealthy Dallas socialite Erika Perdue, 41, (pictured here on her Facebook page) is making headlines after FBI agents raided her $1.4 million mansion and found her in possession of scads of child porn. Creepily enough, she is a wife and mother, and lives across the street from a popular local playground.

Sadly, this is not the kind of incident that can be attributed to the indiscretions of a houseguest or friend. Instead, it seems that, going by the handle “Classybitch,” Perdue has confessed to collecting and swapping child porn online since 1999, while her high-powered attorney husband works all day. She reportedly had so much porn, that according to Dallas’ WFAA.com she had trouble keeping track of it. Perdue was caught after agents working undercover were able to, over the course of months, download hundreds of images from her of adults sexually abusing children, and then track everything back to her computer. After seizing her computer and hard drive, they reportedly found the most disturbing images of all: adults raping toddlers. It is not clear whether Perdue is a pedophile, or is selling the images, which could fetch as much as $25 each. She is charged with four counts of shipping, receiving and possessing child pornography, each of which carries up to a ten-year sentence. Her trial is set for September 10.
