Paul Van Olson is a freelance writer and editor specializing in political and defense issues.  A graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, Van Olson worked for ten years as a government relations specialist in the Washington, DC, Operations office of The Boeing Company, supporting missile defense, military airlift and military transformation programs.  A native Nebraskan, Mr. Van Olson now writes from an undisclosed location near some of Vice President Cheney's preferred pheasant-hunting haunts in South Dakota.
