Beverly Ford worked as a reporter for The Boston Herald for 16 years where she wrote about crime and legal issues. She also has written for several other publications, including Access Magazine, Boston Magazine and Crimebeat

She is also the author of two books, The Kennedys: Tragedies and Scandals and a text on domestic violence.

She is currently writing a book on the Boston Strangler.
