Jucy Lucys, Minneapolis, MN

Two different bars on the same street in South Minneapolis claimed to have invented the legendary cheeseburger which flips the script and cooks the cheese inside of the meat patties. Long standing food feuds and disputes over whether it's spelled "Jucy Lucy"or"Juicy Lucy" does not hinder the popularity of this decadent Midwest burger whatsoever.

Why it's dumb:Just like a cup of black coffee from McDonald's, A Jucy Lucy will scald the living taste buds right out of your mouth then the flaming cheese center gushes out. Since it doesn't come with a warning, servers are supposed to encourage you to wait for it to cool down. If they don't, you'll have third degree burns and a lawsuit on your hands.
