In 2012 the Crown Princess had to dock when nearly 100 passengers came down with a gastrointestinal illness caused by norovirus. The picture here is of a German cruise in December 2012 in which passengers had "agonizing nausea, diarrhea and vomiting." In 2010, one week saw four cruise plague outbreaks. We could go on, but we are feeling a bit seasick just writing about it.
