Super-Dumb Ski Disasters
Bode Guilty of Ski-W-I?
Racer Bode Miller, who once used a World Championships gold medal to prop open his toilet seat, rose to new levels of stupidity when he admitted on 60 Minutes that he was racing on some of the world's toughest courses at highway speeds... while he was drunk. "Talk about a hard challenge right there," the world and Olympic champion admitted. "If you ever tried to ski when you're wasted, it's not easy. Try and ski a slalom. You hit a gate less than every one second, so it's risky. You're putting your life at risk. It's like driving drunk, only there are no rules about it in ski racing." Um, but maybe there ought to be.
