In the traditional sense, dogs don't pay taxes. There are reasons for that but despite logic and good sense, some people, (usually celebrities and the super rich) still decide to give incredibly large gifts to their dogs, making them foundations, which can then be taxed. Or something. Tax law is complicated and this is a slideshow about dogs so let's roll back our expectations a whisker, OK?
