In 1996, Superman starlet Margot Kidder suffered a major meltdown, in part due to her bipolar diagnosis. In a fit of extreme paranoia, the actress hacked off her hair with a razor and spent three days living on the streets. Kidder was discovered in a neighbor's bushes, missing teeth and clearly shaken.
