In this fourth installment of the popular series, the Harry Potter film grew up, taking a fairly large risk by remaining true to the vision of JK Rowling's darker and more serious book. The film was released with a PG-13 rating, which some feared would hurt the box office, but the filmmakers' gamble paid off, with worldwide grosses just shy of 900 million dollars.
