Back in the day, you had two options — rent a covered wagon or make like Laura Ingalls Wilder and stay put in your log cabin. But what about today? Do you rent one of those PODS, a portable box-like structure that serves as bait for moving-day thieves? Do you hire your out-of-work buddies to help you load up an overpriced rental truck? How about paying a couple of movers your arm and leg to pack and move your stuff for you? Of course, you could just ship everything, but that requires physically going to the post office, and nobody likes that.
