The Guildford 4 (The Truth)

In 1989, after the Guildford 4 had spent 14 years in prison, a detective discovered numerous examples of the police adding, deleting or editing their interrogation notes to match the story of the crime. Based on this evidence, an appeal was granted and the convictions were reversed. Three British police officers were charged with wrongful imprisonment, but they were never convicted.
