12 Food Rumors That Are Surprisingly True
Orange Juice Doesn't Have A Real Flavor
If an important part of your balanced breakfast is delicious orange juice, you should know: that flavor isn't really "orange". It may say "fresh-squeezed" on the box, which used to be true, but by the time the OJ gets to your fridge, the juice has been heated, kept in oxygen-free tanks for up to a year (which keeps the juice from spoiling but also zaps much of its flavor), had its "flavor" added back, and finally dumped into a carton and brought to your market.
