The Bermuda Triangle
Dozens of planes and ships have disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle, or "Devil's Triangle," located off the southeastern U.S. Atlantic coast. Perhaps the most frightening loss in the region was a squadron of five American bomber planes that vanished in 1945. Their last recorded words purportedly were, "We are entering white water, nothing seems right. We don't know where we are, the water is green, no white." Some speculate that aliens are to blame for the rash of disappearances, while others point out that the area is prone to bad weather because of the Gulf Stream.
