Occupy Wall Street

While not a conspiracy theory itself, the Occupy Wall Street movement is the offspring of a decade of conspiracy theories surrounding the abuse of power of government and institutions. The post 9-11 world has certainly been hard on Americans, despite no attack in on American soil since that day. As our rights dwindle under the auspices of security, income inequality rises and unemployment remains at dangerous levels, the Occupy Movement has spread around the world. Meanwhile, its detractors are trying various angles — including labeling international billionaire George Soros as OWS' "top funder" (not true) — to crush the movement.
