Wendigo
This man-like beast is frequently sighted in the forests of northern Minnesota. Said to have a skeletal, almost corpse-like body covered by sickly gray skin, it emits a foul odor similar to a decomposing carcass. Native American lore indicates that Wendigos have a voracious appetite for human flesh and lurk in the forests especially during the winter, looking for prey.
